# Net Gear Ready NAS 314 & Net Gear Ready NAS 428

### Configuring the syslog.

1\. Login to Netgear prosafe switch user interface.

2\. From the main menu, select Monitoring > Logs > Syslog Configuration.

In the syslog Configuration, next to the Admin Status, select the Enable radio button.

4\. In the Host configuration, provide IP Address type, Host address and Port number.

5\. Click Apply.<br>
