# Cisco L2 Switch Log Integration

**Log Integration Guide**

**Log Integration procedure:**

To forward logs, make the following configuration.

1. **Login to the CLI Terminal**
2. **Switch to Global Configuration mode.**

Enter the following command:

**config t**

`device# config t`

1. **Configure Syslog Forwarding**

Enter the following command:

**logging host X.X.X.X port 12515 severity debugging**

`device(config)# logging host 10.20.100.161 port 12515 severity debugging`

Replace X.X.X.X with Log Collector IP of specific branch with the Port Number same as above.

1. **Exit the Configuration mode.**

Type Exit

`device(config)# exit`

1. **Save the configuration**

Type write memory
