# Vcenter log integration

**Log Integration Guide**

**Log Integration procedure:**

To forward vCenter logs to a remote Syslog server, following the below steps:

1. Log in to the vCenter Server Appliance Management Interface as root.
2. In the vCenter Server Appliance Management Interface, select **Syslog**.

1. In the Forwarding Configuration section, click Configure if you have not configured any remote syslog hosts or click Edit if you already have configured hosts.

1. In the Create Forwarding Configuration pane, enter the following details:

* Server Address:  \[Log Collector IP of specific branch]
* Protocol: UDP
* Port : 12426

1. Click **Save**.
